International innovation and technological cooperation expand
As part of a working visit to the United States, representatives from the Samarkand Regional Department of the Ministry of Digital Technologies participated in several meetings and events.
In particular, the opening ceremony for the Samarqand Digital Hub innovation center was held in San Francisco.
During the event, participants became familiar with the center’s modern infrastructure and technological capabilities.
On the first day of Samarqand Digital Hub’s operations, memoranda of cooperation were signed with Humonola Inc. to develop startup projects.
The agreements reached will expand opportunities for young Uzbek programmers and innovators to showcase their projects in international markets, especially in the United States.
In addition, meetings were held in Missouri with foreign investors and business representatives, during which the reforms being implemented in Uzbekistan in the field of digital technologies, the opportunities created for IT Park residents, and the country’s investment potential were presented.
During the talks, prospects for cooperation in IT services, investment management, and technology project development were discussed.
The delegation also met with Webster University President Tim Keane. Special attention was given to training qualified personnel in artificial intelligence and modern IT fields, improving faculty qualifications, and implementing joint educational programs.
