Intercultural dialogue promotes peace, builds mutual trust, and supports sustainable development
The Forum on Intercultural Dialogue among the Member States of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization took place during the Third International Maqom Art Forum.
The event brought together culture ministers from SCO member states, representatives of ICESCO, UNESCO, the Organization of Turkic States, TURKSOY, and the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation, as well as leading experts in culture and the arts.

The participants discussed developing intercultural cooperation among SCO member states, strengthening friendship and mutual understanding between peoples, and preserving their shared cultural heritage.
During the event, special focus was given to digitalizing cultural heritage sites, deploying artificial intelligence technologies, supporting youth initiatives, and broadening cooperation in international forums and festivals.

Following the forum, proposals were presented to enhance cultural and humanitarian collaboration, promote initiatives that foster friendship, good-neighborliness, and mutual understanding throughout the SCO region, and uphold the principles of the Shanghai Spirit.
