In which sectors do foreign-invested enterprises operate?

According to the National Statistics Committee, as of June 1, 2026, a total of 19,921 enterprises with foreign investment were operating in Uzbekistan.

Their distribution by type of economic activity was as follows (units):

− trade – 7,114;

− industry – 3,928;

− construction – 1,632;

− information and communications – 1,601;

− accommodation and food services – 878;

− transportation and storage – 613;

− agriculture, forestry and fisheries – 520;

− healthcare and social services – 228;

− other sectors – 3,407.
