Foreign IT companies paid 143.8 billion UZS in taxes

According to the Tax Committee, 97 foreign companies providing electronic services in Uzbekistan paid 143.8 billion UZS in taxes in the first half of 2026. This amount increased by 84 percent compared with the same period last year.

The foreign companies with the highest tax payments include: Apple with 33.6 billion UZS, Google at 33.3 billion UZS, Meta with 28.9 billion UZS, Valve Corp. contributing 15.8 billion UZS, Anthropic totaling 6.3 billion UZS, OpenAI paying 5.6 billion UZS, Midasbuy with 2.9 billion UZS, Booking.com at 2.6 billion UZS, TikTok with 1.6 billion UZS, and Anysphere contributing 1.5 billion UZS.

Under the current procedure, foreign legal entities that provide electronic services must submit tax reports and pay the applicable taxes no later than the 20th day of the month following the reporting quarter.
