Fergana and Minsk enhance pharmaceutical cooperation

A delegation from Fergana region visited the state-owned pharmaceutical enterprise Belmedpreparaty.

Deputy Hokim of Fergana region Islom Madaminov, accompanied by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the Republic of Belarus Nuriddin Mamajonov, met with the Minister of Health of the Republic of Belarus Boris Androsyuk, Director General of the Belpharmprom pharmaceutical holding company Yuri Pokhodnya, and Director General of Belmedpreparaty Alexandr Zhadan.

The parties discussed prospects for mutually beneficial cooperation in the pharmaceutical sector, including exchanging expertise, introducing advanced technologies, localizing pharmaceutical production in Fergana region, and implementing joint investment projects.
