Entry to Uzbekistan has been simplified for foreign nationals with internationally recognized visas

On August 29 this year, the Head of State issued Decree “On simplifying the entry procedure for foreign citizens with internationally recognized visas” to streamline entry processes into Uzbekistan.

Starting September 1, 2026, citizens of the Republic of India with valid multiple-entry visas for business or tourism from Australia, the US, the UK, Canada, South Korea, Schengen countries, New Zealand, or Japan, and showing an onward ticket to their home or third country, will be allowed visa-free entry to Uzbekistan for up to 30 days within the validity of their foreign visa.
