Cooperation between government bodies and public organizations in developing women’s entrepreneurship discussed
Tashkent hosted an international conference titled “Cooperation between government agencies and public organizations in the development of women’s entrepreneurship: the experience of Uzbekistan”.
The conference was a key platform for exploring ways to boost women’s economic participation, support their entrepreneurial efforts, enhance collaboration between government agencies and public organizations, showcase Uzbekistan’s experiences internationally, and share best practices from abroad.
The conference was organized around two thematic sessions. The first session addressed priority areas of state policy, including support for women’s entrepreneurship, the protection of the rights and interests of non-governmental, nonprofit organizations, and the participation of civil society institutions in implementing state programs and social projects.
The second session focused on social partnership between government bodies and public organizations.
Following the event, memoranda of cooperation were signed, and recommendations were developed to improve cooperation between government bodies and public organizations in support of women’s entrepreneurship, harmonize national and international experience, and encourage women’s economic activity and social initiatives.
