Chess Olympiad winners awarded in Samarkand

The closing ceremony of the International Chess Federation’s (FIDE) 46th Chess Olympiad has begun at the Eternal City complex of the Samarkand International Tourism Center.

FIDE officials, representatives of the Government of Uzbekistan, Chess Olympiad participants, distinguished delegations, and chess fans are attending the ceremony. 

Olympiad participants are receiving awards in various FIDE award categories. FIDE officials and distinguished guests are presenting the awards.
