Abdulaziz Kholmirzayev becomes the Asian Champion

The U17 Asian Wrestling Championship is taking place in Da Nang, Vietnam.

At the Greco-Roman wrestling championships, Uzbekistan’s Abdulaziz Kholmirzayev won a gold medal in the up to 80 kg weight category, Sardor Mahmudov earned silver in the up to 65 kg category, and Qodirjon Fozilov took bronze in the up to 71 kg category. In the women’s championships, Zaytuna Saparova (-40 kg) and Siysagul Sarsenbayeva (-61 kg) won bronze medals.
