Uzbekistan – the dream destinationA conference on “Uzbekistan – the dream destination” was held in Lahore (Punjab Province).
The event was organized in cooperation with the founder of Qasim Ali Shah Foundation, Qasim Ali Shah.
Participants of the event were informed in detail about the large-scale activities on development of tourism industry in Uzbekistan, improvement and modernization of corresponding infrastructure meeting high international standards, improving quality of service and creating favorable conditions for qualitative recreation in the country, as well as huge potential in the field of ziyorat (pilgrimage) tourism.
As reported by the Press Service of the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Tourism Development, the film shown on a big screen about the results of the trip of the first group of tourists from Pakistan to the cities of Bukhara, Samarkand and Tashkent on the program “ziyorat-tourism” (135 people) caused the interest of the audience.
It should be noted that following the results of this trip, Qasim Ali Shah conducted a marketing campaign to promote tours to Uzbekistan.
In particular, in his accounts in social networks he published a series of videos – “tourist’s stories” from Bukhara and Samarkand, based on positive comments of Pakistani tourists about Uzbekistan.
In his speech, the co-organizer of the event, Qasim Ali Shah, shared his impressions of his trip to Uzbekistan, in particular, highly appreciated the careful storage of the rich cultural and historical heritage of Uzbek people.
As Qasim Ali Shah emphasized, Uzbekistan is one of the hot destinations for special cognitive tourism, which involves acquaintance with the unique rich culture of the Timurid Renaissance, as well as with all the charms of historical sites, including mosques, mausoleums and minarets in the ancient cities of Khiva, Bukhara and Samarkand.
