Termez Archaeological Museum is one of the unique museums in Central Asia, opened on the occasion of the 2,500th anniversary of the city of Termez.

Termez Archaeological Museum is one of the unique museums in Central Asia, opened on the occasion of the 2,500th anniversary of the city of Termez.

The museum consists of an entrance hall and 9 exhibition halls, as well as a gallery and an exhibition hall of numismatics.

Termez Archaeological Museum has a scientific library with more than 17,000 unique books, as well as manuscripts and lithographic publications in Persian, Arabic and European languages.

There is also a regional map with unique sculptures made of gypsum, ceramics, a stone basin and 20 archaeological monuments from different periods of the region’s history.
