The flow of tourists from Europe will be significantly increased
On August 17, a meeting of the Acting First Deputy Chairman of the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Tourism Development U.Kasimkhodjayev with Hartmut Piel, the head of the leading German travel company Globalis Erlebnisreisen was held. The meeting was also attended by Deputy Commercial Director of Uzbekistan Airways Sh.Yadgarov.
The parties discussed several issues that will significantly contribute to the increase of the tourist flow from Europe, in particular organization of flights on the combined route Frankfurt – Urgench – Tashkent – Frankfurt. It is planned to start sending 16 groups to Uzbekistan, each up to 100 people. The next stage of cooperation may be the opening of direct charter flights from different cities of Germany to Uzbekistan.
It is important to note that successful cooperation with Globalis Erlebnisreisen lasted until 2016 and ceased for technical reasons. The meeting will serve to renew productive cooperation with a reliable partner. Within the framework of this cooperation, the total number of tourists from Europe to Uzbekistan, sent by only one company, will exceed 3 thousand.
Globalis Erlebnisreisen has a significant potential for increasing the awareness of European citizens, particularly Germany and attracting tourists to Uzbekistan, as it cooperates with leading mass media the number of which is more than 100 and covers a significant part of the continent. At the same time, the parties agreed on development of new websites about Uzbekistan with .de and .com domains and dissemination of printed articles about the tourism potential of the country in major European cities, the Press Service of the State Committee for Tourism Development reports.
