Recently, the State Committee for Tourism Development reached an agreement with Patuna Association on Umrah+ trips in order to promote Uzbekistan’s tourism potential.

Installation of colorful advertising banners in major cities of Indonesia is one of the directions of advertising campaign.

Therefore, on July 12, 2018, an advertising banner with an image of Registan square was placed at the intersection of two busy highways of Jakarta. The inscription of the banner proclaims: “Visiting Imam Bukhari mausoleum, trying the sweetest fruits, skiing and becoming acquainted with unique monuments of Islam can be accomplished by visiting one country – Uzbekistan”.

The design of the banner was developed by the State Committee for Tourism Development and will hang for two months.

This intersection is passed by 20 000 vehicles per hour. Now, the State Committee for Tourism Development and the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia are working on installation of several banners to attract tourists in the direction of ziyorat (pilgrimage) tourism.
