More than seventy domestic organizations and enterprises took part in a workshop on information security and the fight against cybercrime, held in Hyatt Regency Tashkent hotel.

The event was organized by domestic group of companies Nihol, one of the world’s largest manufacturers and suppliers of hardware and software, as well as IT and consulting services, the US company IBM and MUK group of companies.

The main purpose of the workshop was dissemination of information about the latest trends in the fight against cyber threats and the emergence of new types of malicious software among domestic IT professionals that provide cyber security to local enterprises and government organizations.

The workshop participants learned about the latest cyber threats and methods of countering hacker attacks used by large foreign companies. Experts of Nihol and IBM companies presented their reports and presentations on the analysis of cyber security of Uzbekistan, ensuring security and saving on database security, cognitive technologies for protecting the infrastructure.

Within the framework of the workshop, a demonstration zone was opened, where the latest developments in the field of information security were presented.
