Mark Rochman, founder and CEO of the Openbucks Corporation, greeted the lecture participants and introduced Nazar Ivanenko from Ukraine.

Mr. Ivanenko is a member of the Openbucks team and a head of remote engineering of the company. He is also the head of the Openbucks office in Ukraine.

As reported by Inha University in Tashkent, during the lecture, the IT expert with an extensive experience presented his experience with the young specialists from Uzbekistan about working as a freelancer.

Freelancers are self-employed specialists, who receive orders and remotely provide various services. IT specialists, who do not want to work in one company or project, can provide remote service for various companies or projects.

During an online lecture, Nazar Ivanenko shared his work experience as the freelancers for various companies, including those in Silicon Valley. In particular, he shared his knowledge and insights on self-motivation to work.

As part of the event, Nazar Ivanenko answered the questions of students and participants of the Silicon Valley Talks lecture.

IUT and Openbucks Corporation signed a memorandum of understanding within the visit of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to the United States in September 2017.

Within the framework of the signed memorandum, IUT and Openbucks intend to cooperate in the field of IT education. In particular, the parties intend to invite leading American experts to conduct lectures and transfer best practices and information for the development of innovative projects and start-ups in the format of Silicon Valley Talks.
