The Minister of ITC met with representatives of Russian TV channelsMinister for Development of Information Technologies and Communications of Uzbekistan Azim Akhmedkhadjayev met with Vice Minister of Telecom and Mass Communications of the Russian Federation Alexey Volin, who arrived in Tashkent to discuss prospects for expanding bilateral relations in a number of areas of communications. This is reported by the Ministry for Development of Information Technologies and Communications of Uzbekistan.
The Russian delegation consists of representatives of the Presidential Administration of the Russian Federation on public relations and communications, All-Russia State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company, "Russia Today" IIA, "First Channel" and "Russia 24" TV channels.
During the conversation, the sides discussed prospects of expanding bilateral relations in the sphere of media communication on such directions as development of digital television, technology parks, digital economy, and IT specialists training system.
Particularly, the Russian delegation briefed Uzbek colleagues on the process of transition to digital television broadcasting in Russia and proposed solutions of Russian platforms for organization of mobile television. The sides discussed the issue of attracting Russian filmmakers for filming documentaries and programs about prominent Uzbek figures, contribution of Uzbek scientists to development of world civilization. The specialists also agreed to organize special forums and seminars for press services of state bodies on a regular basis and expressed readiness to assist each other in improving skills of IT specialists.
