Tashkent University of Information Technologies named after Muhammad al-Khwarizmi hosted the Third Conference 3i “Investment, innovation, informatization”, dedicated to the importance of attracting investment in development of high technologies.

Specialists of the Ministries for Development of Information Technologies and Communications, Innovation Development, Investment and Foreign Trade, Employment and Labor Relations of Uzbekistan, the State Customs Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the University students attended the event. It was organized by the Committee on Innovative Development, Information Policy and Information Technologies of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis.

Participants discussed the issues of commercialization of innovative developments, creation of startups, prospects of attracting investors through specialized state portals.

Rector of Tashkent University of Information Technologies Tulkin Teshabayev spoke about innovative activities of the University and noted that the lack of investment hinders the introduction of innovations.

In addition, the need for creating favorable conditions in Uzbekistan for interaction with foreign investors, strengthening cooperation of organizations and institutions responsible for implementation of major investment projects was noted.
