Google created an electronic keyboard for seriously ill peopleThe Google company has added Morse code to Gboard keyboard. A new option was presented at the annual conference for developers, which was broadcasted on the official website of the event.
The keyboard with Morse consists of two fields – with a dot and with a dash (short and long signals). The application is able to suggest variations of words, as a conventional keyboard in smartphones does.
Such a text input method will help users with serious diseases, who have speech difficulties and limited motor abilities: the keyboard works together with Switch Access for Android.
Functions of Switch Access allows to control Android device using special switches that replace the touch screen. It can be useful to users with limited motor abilities.
