All public service centers will be connected to fiber-optic communication linesThe Ministry for Development of Information Technologies and Communications of Uzbekistan will ensure connection of all public service centers to fiber-optic communication lines, as well as create and implement a call processing system with the ability to record phone calls.
According to the Ministry, this activity will be carried out in accordance with the resolution of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev “On additional measures of accelerating development of public service system” of April 11, 2018. Technical solutions will ensure an accelerated transition of the national system of rendering public services to the population to a qualitatively new level, as well as consistent implementation of tasks outlined in the Action Strategy on five priority areas of development of the Republic of Uzbekistan in 2017-2021.
The resolution clearly outlines the time frame for implementation by the Ministry of these requirements on connection of public service centers, introduction of a call processing system, as well as a mobile application for provision of electronic services.
In addition, a special mobile application, information system, Internet resources, databases and various software products for providing the most demanded electronic public services will be developed and implemented. At the same time, all territorial departments and centers of public services of the State Services Agency under the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan will be equipped with all necessary hardware and software systems.
The Ministry for Development of Information Technologies and Communications together with state bodies and other organizations will conduct an inventory of their information and telecommunication systems, databases, server equipment with their subsequent integration with the “Electronic government” system and information systems of the State Services Agency under the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
