Uzbekistan athletes win 45 medals of the Asian Games
The 18th Asian Games in the Indonesian cities of Jakarta and Palembang are being held in the spirit of an acute and irreconcilable struggle.
In high jump, Svetlana Radzivil from Uzbekistan conquered the height of 1.96 meters and won a gold medal, updating the record of the Asian Games.
Nadia Dusanova jumped to the height of 1.94 meters and won a silver medal.
In triple jumps Ruslan Kurbonov with a result of 16.62 meters brought a silver medal to the team.
Diyor Urozboyev in judo championships, in the weight category up to 60 kilograms, defeated Toru Shishime from Japan and won the Asian Games.
In kurash championships, Dildora Shermetova defeated all rivals and won a gold medal. Mukhlisa Abdumalikova and Sarvar Shomurodov became silver medalists.
As of August 29, Uzbekistan athletes won 12 gold, 17 silver and 16 bronze medals of the Asian Games.
