Turkey’s Çorum hosted World Youth U-16 Chess Olympiad 2019.

Nodirbek Abdusattorov, Javokhir Sindorov, Ali Kasimov, Mukhiddin Madaminov and Umida Omonova defended the honor of Uzbekistan at the Olympiad.

More than 250 participants competed at the Olympiad. Uzbekistan athletes took the second place with 15 points. Azerbaijan became first with 16 points and Belarus became third with 14 points.

N.Abdusattorov and J.Sindorov became silver medalists in the individual events.
