The Uzbekistan Athletics Championship among young people and adults began in the Republican College of Olympic Reserve.

On the first day of competition, Abbos Toshmatov, Murod Magomedrasulov, Roman Shtukan, Diana Agliulina, Liliya Manasipova, and Irina Morozova became the winners on the 60, 400, 1500 m distances run competition. Among young people the winners were Jamoliddin Hamrokulov, Shota Shalikashvili, Bekzod Safarov, Anna Shimanis, Elmira Gazizova, Muattar Barotova.

On the 60 m distance obstacle run competition Marat Haydarov and Natalya Asanova among adults and Ulugbek Isroilov with Aleksandra Yurkevskaya among youth rose to the highest step of the podium.

Darya Reznichenko and Viktoriya Dirdina won the first place on the long jump competition among girls and women. An experienced athlete Marina Pilyugina took first place in the pentathlon.
