Uzbekistan Fencing Federation together with the International Fencing Federation, based on the FIE decision, will host the international FIE Satellite tournaments.

On September 5-10, 2019, Uzbekistan Fencing Federation together with the International Fencing Federation, based on the FIE decision, will host the international FIE Satellite tournaments.

International FIE Satellite tournaments will be held in fencing foil on September 5-6, and fencing sword on September 7-8. Central Asia Fencing Confederation Championship in fencing will be held on September 9-10.

Members of Uzbekistan fencing team are actively preparing for this tournament. Together with members of the Russian national team, they are conducting training camps in the most famous fencing centers in Moscow, Novosibirsk, as well as tournaments with experienced athletes from foreign countries. Foreign coaches are involved in order to improve the skills of athletes.

According to the Press Service of Uzbekistan Fencing Federation, it is expected that the strongest athletes from countries such as Russia, the United Kingdom, the United States, Italy, Singapore, Malaysia, the Philippines, Brazil, Turkey, Georgia, China, Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan will participate in the international tournament. The honor of Uzbekistan will be defended by more than 50 athletes.

Athletes from Afghanistan, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Malaysia will take part in the open championship of the Central Asia Fencing Confederation.
