In the first two sets, Nick won the tiebreak and Denis Istomin succeeded in the third game. In the fourth game, Kyrgios became winner with a score of 6:3.

The results of the first round: Rafael Nadal – Dudi Sela (Israel) 6:3, 6:3, 6:2, Roger Federer – Dusan Lajovic (Serbia) 6:1, 6:3, 6:4, Alexander Zverev (Germany) – James Duckworth (Australia) 7:5, 6:2, 6:0. 

In women’s tournaments, Simona Halep from Romania defeated Kurumi Nara from Japan (6:2, 6:4), Caroline Wozniacki from Denmark beat Varvara Lepchenko from the USA (6:0, 6:3), Garbine Muguruza from Spain won Naomi Broady from the UK (6:2, 7:5).

Serena Williams’s fans are pleased with her victory over Arantxa Rus from the Netherlands (7:5, 6:3). But, Maria Sharapova lost the game with Vitaly Dyachenko from Russia in three sets (7:6, 6:7, 4:6) and left the first round.
