Asian Road Cycling Championships identifies its first winners
Asian Road Cycling Championships kicks off in Tashkent region.
The championship is held by the Ministry of Physical Culture and Sports of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the National Olympic Committee, Uzbekistan Cycling Federation, as well as International Cycling Union (UCI) and Asian Cycling Confederation (ACC).
It is attended by more than 500 cyclists from almost 40 countries such as China, South Korea, India, Vietnam, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand, Mongolia, UAE, Jordan, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Yemen and Lebanon.
On the first day of the championships, women participate in 30-kilometer team races, and men – 40 kilometers. In addition, races are held in three directions among the paralympians.
South Korea’s team took the first place in team races among women. Kazakhstan became the second and Hong Kong the third.
