Sports Princess contest held

The Sport Princess 2009 contest winners were awarded in Tashkent on 24 December. The jury paid attention not only to sports achievements of the participants, but also to their activities in the social life and intellectual potential.

The contest, organized by the Women’s Committee, National Olympic Committee, Children’s Sports Development Fund and Kamolot youth movement, was open for graduates of the State Institute of Physical Culture.

The grand prize and the Sports Princess 2009 title went to Anastasia Bezzubtseva. The first place went to Durdona Qoraboyeva, second to Dilora Sayidkhojayeva and Yanna Pavliva. Yulia Uchayeva won the third place.
