Zarafshan’s Khokim visits Clinton
Khokim of Zarafshan Anvar Rajabov visited Clinton, Mississippi, to further strengthen partnership between the two twin cities of Zarafshan and Clinton, establish direct contacts with local manufacturing enterprises and companies, and establish cooperation with education institutions of Mississippi.

Meetings were held with the Commissioner of Agriculture and Commerce of the State Andy Gibson, Mayor of Clinton Phil Fisher, heads of Continental Tires, Mcneely, Taylor Power Systems, Gulf Relay. In addition, A. Rajabov visited a college and secondary education institutions.
Andy Gibson expressed appreciation for Uzbekistan’s increased interest in cooperation.
Phil Fisher noted that A. Rajabov’s visit to the United States is a logical continuation of practical implementation of the Agreement on establishing twin relations between the two cities, signed in Navoi in May.
The Khokim’s visit to the United States made it possible to outline prospects for further strengthening partnership between the twin cities of Zarafshan and Clinton. The parties identified specific steps to expand cooperation in trade-economic, investment, cultural and education fields.
