Young farmers passed trainings according to Germany’s experience
Tashkent hosted a workshop, held by the Savings Banks Foundation for International Cooperation of Germany, on training trainers from the staff of the Council of Young Farmers of Uzbekistan, Agrobank, Halq Bank and Microkreditbank.
On May 7, 2019, the Central Council of Uzbekistan Youth Union signed an agreement on mutual cooperation with the Savings Banks Foundation for International Cooperation of Germany.
In particular, participants through various business games on the basis of practical examples had an opportunity to improve their financial literacy, study advantages and disadvantages of savings (deposits) and loans, communication between the bank and client, budget planning, the role of the bank in the life of youth, young farmers, owners of dehkan and homestead lands wishing to start entrepreneurial or farming activities, rules of targeted use of credit.
The event was attended by international experts, project coordinators, members of the Council of Young Farmers of Uzbekistan, bank employees and mass media.
