World’s leading agro-industrial companies are in Tashkent
On March 13, the 14th international exhibition AgroWorld Uzbekistan 2019 kicked off in Tashkent.
More than 150 companies from 22 countries such as Austria, Azerbaijan, Belarus, China, Kazakhstan, the Netherlands, Russia, Turkey, the United Kingdom are presenting their products and services at the event, held at Uzexpocentre in collaboration with a number of ministries and foreign organizations.
According to the organizers, 90 percent of the total exposition of this year’s exhibition is made up of stands of foreign companies. In particular, Turkey’s 60 companies specializing in production and delivery of industrial greenhouses, equipment for poultry farms, technologies for growing plants in greenhouses, equipment for processing and storing grain are attending the event.
More than 10 companies from the Netherlands are among the exhibitors, which are representing innovations in various branches of agriculture. The delegation is led by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to the Republic of Uzbekistan Renée Jones-Bos.
The gardening department at the exhibition is especially crowded. More than 30 foreign companies are presenting their services and equipment in the field of greenhouses.
It is noteworthy that the Omsk and Voronezh region Export Support centers of the Russian Federation are also taking part in the exhibition. This makes it possible to develop cooperation with Russian companies along with introduction of best practices in the industry.
On the first day of AgroWorld Uzbekistan 2019, a workshop was organized on the issues of animal husbandry. On March 14, a training workshop will be held for exhibitors on “The export and modern technologies of agricultural production”.
