Head of the State Inspectorate of Sanitary and Epidemiological Surveillance under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Chief State Sanitary Inspector of the country Nurmat Otabekov:

– Currently, the number of people infected with coronavirus infection in Uzbekistan is 133. During the conversation with the leadership of the Scientific Research Institute of Virology, it was noted that 19 patients had signs of pneumonia, the condition of 4 patients was assessed as severe, 2 – relatively severe. Each patient is under medical supervision and receives necessary procedures.

An encouraging fact is that thanks to the efforts of our dedicated and patriotic doctors, the first 7 patients with coronavirus infection in our country have fully recovered and are being transferred to a rehabilitation center. This is one of the great achievements of Uzbekistan medicine.

But we have no right to forget, protecting the health of people, people close to us is our duty! We will be able to maintain stability only by serious and rigorous compliance with the established rules, discipline and quarantine measures. Whenever possible, stay at home, for no reason do not go outside, minimize communication.
