Special Representative of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Afghanistan Ismatulla Irgashev attended the virtual conference on the Afghan settlement.

On June 18, 2020, Special Representative of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Afghanistan Ismatulla Irgashev attended the virtual conference on the Afghan settlement, Uzbekistan MFA reports.

Special representatives of Qatar, Germany, Norway, Indonesia and the United States also attended the event.

International efforts to resolve the Afghan crisis, as well as early launching of inter-Afghan peace talks were discussed at the event.

Views were exchanged on priority areas for providing full assistance to Afghanistan, especially in the context of the pandemic.
