Valor and courage will be remembered forever
Committee on Interethnic Relations and Friendly Ties with Foreign Countries under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan hosted an enlightenment event dedicated to the 75th Anniversary of the Victory.
Uzbekistan is actively preparing for a worthy celebration of the 75th Anniversary of the Victory in the World War II. As the Head of the state noted in his Address to the Oliy Majlis, we can rightfully be proud of our brave and generous people, who have made an incomparable contribution to ensuring a great victory.
Our people will never forget more than 1.5 million Uzbek sons who bravely fought in this bloody war for peace and freedom, every third of them did not return to their home, and those who selflessly worked behind the front line.
In Uzbekistan, veterans of the war and the rear are remembered and honored not only on holidays, they are given constant attention and care about their health. These days, large-scale activity is being carried out to demonstrate the true valor and courage of our people during the war years through films, theatrical productions, artistic and journalistic works, scientific research, especially among young people. In particular, a Victory Park is being built in Almazar district of Tashkent.
Yulduz ensemble of Bashkir-Tatar national cultural center “Dustlik” of Yunusabad district of the capital performed a concert program.
