Uzbekistan’s Embassy in Seoul has organized a visit of a delegation led by the Executive Vice President of Korea Uzbekistan Business Association (KUBA) under the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy of the Republic of Korea, Kim Chang Keon, to Fergana region to discuss accelerating the implementation of joint investment projects.

The first meeting has taken place in the city of Kokand between Kim Chang Keon and the Hokim of the city Maruf Usmonov.

At the meeting, agreements were discussed and reached on the practical start by the end of this year of investment projects for the construction of modern multi-storey residential complexes with social infrastructure in Kokand City by Hanshin Engineering & Construction and Plus International companies, the organization of production of natural cosmetics jointly with LYA Cosmetics, as well as other projects involving KUBA member companies.

Coordination of the implementation of all investment projects implemented with the support of KUBA is entrusted to the representative office of this Association in Fergana region.

In order to speed up the process of interaction and exchange of information between the hokimiyat of the city of Kokand and South Korean companies, it was decided to create a representative office of Hanshin Engineering & Construction in Kokand.
