Ambassador of Uzbekistan Ravshan Usmanov met with Deputy Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Malaysia Nadzirah Binti Osman.

The current state and prospects for expanding multifaceted cooperation between Uzbekistan and Malaysia were discussed at the meeting.

Views were exchanged on further strengthening bilateral ties in trade, economic, investment and educational spheres, as well as measures taken by the governments of the two countries to mitigate the economic consequences of the global crisis caused by the coronavirus pandemic.

The parties highly appreciated the established interaction within the framework of international organizations, in particular the UN, the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation and other structures.
