Uzbekistan, Malaysia strengthen cooperation in public administration and personnel policy
Delegation of Civil Service Development Agency under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Academy of Public Administration visited Malaysia to exchange experience in public administration and personnel policy, as well as to study the system of retraining and advanced training of civil servants.
Delegation of Civil Service Development Agency under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Academy of Public Administration visited Malaysia to exchange experience in public administration and personnel policy, as well as to study the system of retraining and advanced training of civil servants.
Within the framework of the visit, organized with the assistance of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Kuala Lumpur, meetings were held with the leadership of the Department of Civil Service under the Cabinet of Malaysia, the International Institute of Public Policy and Management at the University of Malaya, the National Institute of Public Administration, the Legislation and Judiciary Training Institute under the Prime Minister’s Department and the National University, as well as 3 training workshops.
The Malaysian side was informed on the ongoing reforms in Uzbekistan in public administration, personnel policy, training, retraining and advanced training of civil servants, as well as activities of Civil Service Development Agency and the Academy of Public Administration.
The Malaysian side highly appreciated the decision of the country’s leadership to create an Agency for development of public service. In this context, the readiness of the Malaysian colleagues for active interaction and effective cooperation with Civil Service Development Agency and the Academy of Public Administration was noted.
