State Academic Grand Theater of Uzbekistan named after Alisher Navoi hosted an award ceremony of the National Prize “Oʻzbegim Ayoli 2020”.

In this regard, representatives of ministries and agencies, creative and public organizations, venerable mothers and women successfully working in various fields were invited to the theater.

At the event, Chairperson of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan T. Narbayeva, Deputy Chairperson of the Public Fund for the Support and Development of National Mass Media S. Mirziyoyeva noted that in Uzbekistan, issues of respect and reverence for women, facilitating their worries, strengthening social protection are always in the spotlight.

Documents of more than 100 women living in various regions of the country have been submitted to this competition. Ten women were declared winners by decision of the jury.

Winner in the nomination “Sincere Woman” Sabokhat Jalolova steadily endures all the trials of fate. She does not stop helping other people. She is the mother of boxing champion Bakhodir Jalolov.

The mother of another champion Murodjon Akhmadaliyev – Oyshakhon Fayozova also became the winner in this category. She worked as a teacher for thirty years, and now she is a member of the commission for reconciling at the citizens’ assembly of the makhalla. She warned the divorce of many couples. Helps those in need of employment, housing.

The winner in the “Patient Woman” nomination, Lola Rakhmonova, sees the world with her heart, knows five languages.

The winner in the nomination “Strong-willed woman” Nilufar Akhmedova withstood the test of fate, showed resilience in an accident. Now Nilufar is Uzbekistan champion in swimming.

The winner in the “Brave Woman” nomination, Kalbike Jiyemuratova, ensured the healthy birth of many infants. As a midwife, she considers it her sacred duty to preserve the life of mother and child.
