The Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan hosted a meeting. It was attended by representatives of Central Asian Radiation Oncology Congress, who arrived from Germany.

– Relations between the two countries in medicine are being strengthened, – says the First Deputy Minister of Health of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhodir Yusupaliyev. – This can be seen by the first results achieved in oncology. Local and foreign experts exchanged experience, modern methods of children’s treatment at the congress. German radiation oncologists’ desire to work together with Uzbek colleagues is particularly pleasing. Construction of German cancer clinic in Uzbekistan is a proof of this.

Following the meeting, the parties signed a pediatrics joint program aimed at postgraduate training of physicians.
