First Deputy Director General of the Hydrometeorological Service Center under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhriddin Nishanov addressed the UN Climate Change Conference COP 25, in Spain.

The event is attended by representatives of more than 190 countries, international organizations and NGOs.

The head of Uzbekistan delegation informed the participants about the progress of Uzbekistan in fulfilling the commitments made under the Paris Agreement on climate change, as well as about measures on transition to a green economy, and called on the international community to support the large-scale efforts led by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, to address the negative effects of the drying of the Aral Sea.
