Uzbekistan delegation attends the 22nd Diplomatic Session of the Hague Conference on Private International Law
Uzbekistan delegation led by Deputy Minister of Justice Khudoyar Meliyev attends the 22nd Diplomatic Session of the Hague Conference on Private International Law, in the Netherlands.
According to the Embassy of Uzbekistan in the Benelux countries, the delegation also included representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Supreme Court, as well as Tashkent International Arbitration Centre at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan.
In March 2019, the joining procedure of Uzbekistan to the Conference has begun, which is expected to be completed by the end of this year.
Following the 22nd Diplomatic Session, the Hague Conference is expected to adopt the Convention on the recognition and enforcement of foreign judgments in civil or commercial matters.
During the visit, it is planned to hold bilateral meetings, in particular with the leadership of the Hague Conference on Private International Law, as well as the Permanent Court of Arbitration.
