Odessa, Ukraine, hosted a regional training on monthly energy data. The event was organized by the International Energy Agency. This was reported by the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Statistics.

It was attended by representatives of Eurostat, the International Energy Forum, the International Energy Agency, the UN Statistics Division, as well as staff from statistical organizations of Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Tajikistan and Ukraine.

Issues of improving presentation of the Joint organizations data initiative (JODI-Oil & JODI-Gas) and improving the overall quality and transparency of energy data in partner countries on EU4Energy program, as well as increasing knowledge of data requirements for policy in energy security (oil, gas, electricity) were discussed.
