Uzbekistan, China governments hold negotiations
Tashkent hosted a meeting with participation of delegations of the governments of the two countries.
On November 1, within the framework of the official visit of the Premier of the State Council of China Li Keqiang to Uzbekistan, Tashkent hosted a meeting with participation of delegations of the governments of the two countries.
At the meeting, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov, the Premier of the State Council of China Li Keqiang noted that close, open and friendly relations between the heads of the states serve as a reliable basis for development of a comprehensive strategic partnership between the two countries.
During the bilateral dialogue, issues of timely enforcement of agreements reached at the summit, were discussed. Possibilities of further expansion of ties in trade-economic, investment, financial and transport-communication spheres were considered.
The Uzbek side invited Chinese partners to attend the International Investment Forum to be held on March 4-6, 2020 in Tashkent. A proposal was also forwarded to hold the First Uzbekistan – China Interregional Forum.
Following the meeting, documents were signed on cooperation in trade, economy, investment, banking and financial activities, transport and communications, agricultural exports, and technical cooperation.
