U.S. Ambassador at Large for International Religious Freedom arrives in Uzbekistan
On September 17, 2018, the U.S. delegation led by Ambassador at Large for International Religious Freedom Samuel Dale Brownback arrived in Uzbekistan.
The delegation members will attend a roundtable discussion on “Religious tolerance: experience of Uzbekistan and the United States” at the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
It will be attended by officials of a number of ministries and agencies, representatives of civil society institutions, religious denominations.
Within the framework of the event, it is envisaged to sign a memorandum between the Institute for Strategic and Interregional Studies under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Independent Institute for Monitoring the Formation of Civil Society and the U.S. Institute for Global Engagement.
