Training in project management
Tashkent hosted the official meeting of managers of the National Project Management Agency under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan (NPMA) with the Chairman of the Council of International Project Management Association (IPMA), the Honorary Chairman of German Project Management Association (GPM) Reinhard Wagner.
According to the National Project Management Agency under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Mr. Wagner was very interested in comprehensive measures on reforming the country's economy and people’s social life, which began in 2017. At the same time, special attention was paid to reforms aimed at integrated planning, cost optimization, quality control, development of interagency interaction, integration with the business process and changes in the world.
According to Reinhard Wagner, it is difficult to overestimate the role of the National Project Management Agency under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, established on the initiative of the Head of the State, in monitoring the implementation of reforms and investment programs, as well as assisting in quality and timely implementation of projects in Uzbekistan.
The parties also discussed the establishment of cooperation for training and professional development of personnel in project management, creation of certification system according to international standards, which will improve the quality of projects implemented in Uzbekistan.
Following the meeting, specific areas of cooperation between NPMA and IPMA were outlined.
