It was attended by senators, representatives of the ministries of finance, justice, agriculture and water management, the State Tax Committee, the Institute of Forecasting and Macroeconomic Research under the Cabinet of Ministers, the Council of Farmers, farms and owners of household plots of Uzbekistan, the Development Strategy Center, higher education institutions, farmers, owners of household lands, domestic and foreign journalists.

Chairman of the Committee of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis on the Issues of Budget and Economic Reforms M.Jumagaldiyev, Deputy Chairman of the Committee of the Senate on Agrarian, Water Management Issues and Ecology B.Tojiyev, First Deputy Minister of Economy M.Mirzayev, Deputy Chairman of the State Tax Committee N.Norboyev, Chairman of the Council of farmers, dehkan farms and owners of household plots B.Yusupov provided information on the theme.

In the Address of the President Shavkat Mirziyoyev to the Oliy Majlis, instructions were given on ensuring openness in formation of local budgets and improving the tax system.

At the event it was emphasized that these requirements were taken into account when forming the State Budget for 2018.

Audit and financial control departments are being established in the ministries, which will take control over the funds allocated from the budget.

Speakers noted that in 2018, 34,7 trillion sums are to be allocated to social sphere, over 8,5 trillion sums to the implementation of adopted state programs. In addition, it is planned to reduce the fixed tax rate from individual entrepreneurs by an average of 30 percent, which, in turn, will increase entrepreneurial activity of the population.

During the event, it was noted that about 23 thousand projects aimed at establishing multidisciplinary activities in 21634 farms are planned to be implemented in the country in 2018.
