The Republican Festival of Friendship and Culture "Uzbekistan is Our Common Home" and scientific and practical seminar "The Role of Inter-ethnic harmony in the education and upbringing of healthy generation" held in Khorezm.

The event, organized by the Republican International Cultural Center in cooperation with the Khorezm regional khokimiyat (administration), the Women's Committee of Uzbekistan and other organizations, was attended by representatives of national cultural centers, operating in the region, governmental and non-governmental organizations and the general public.

Director of the Republican International Cultural Center N.Muhammadiev and others noted that special attention, which is given under the leadership of the President of our country to the protection of human rights and interests, ensuring an atmosphere of ethnic harmony and religious generosity yields positive results.

In our country, in peace and harmony is inhabited by representatives of more than 130 nations and nationalities, who are actively involved in the changes in society. Currently, Russian, Tatar, Kazakh, Korean national cultural centers operate in the Khorezm region.

At the event were heard the reports "The role of national and universal values in the education of young generation" and "Mother's education is the happiness of our children."

Presented national dress, culinary specialties and products business, works of art at the exhibition organized in the framework of the festival made a great impression on the participants.

The khokim (head of administration) of the Khorezm region P.Bobojonov made a speech in event.
