The event dedicated to awarding the winners of the III Festival of short films of young cinematographers “PROlogue” was held at the Palace of Youth Creativity, in Tashkent.

The event dedicated to awarding the winners of the III Festival of short films of young cinematographers “PROlogue” was held at the Palace of Youth Creativity, in Tashkent.

The festival, organized by the Union of Youth of Uzbekistan, “Uzbekkino” National Agency, Council of Young Cinematographers, and the Center for the Development of Cinematography, was full of bright and colorful events, creative meetings and negotiations.

Photo exhibitions, scientific and practical conferences, “round table” discussions that were held within the framework of the festival aroused great interest among the participants and guests of the event. The youth received useful information about creation of films of high artistic and ideological level, writing a scenario, creating the image of a contemporary hero, the continuity of literature and cinematograph, as well as tasks of cinematographers in conditions of current globalization during the master classes with participation of experienced filmmakers.

15 films were selected by the commission among almost a hundred films that were represented by youth. The films that were included in the program of the week were analyzed in detail by the jury members of the festival.

Hasan Alijonov with the “Aquarium” film won in “The best director” nomination. The “Khorezm – my love” film by Maftuna Allokulova won in “The best scenario” nomination. The best in the nomination “For the best camera work” was recognized the operator of “Limousine” film Bakhtiyor Otaboyev. Fotikh Nasimov was awarded in “The best actor” nomination for the role in the film “The house without support”. Oyparcha Abdullayeva won in “The best actress” nomination for her role in the “Dilemma” film.

The Grand Prize of the festival was awarded to Mukhlisa Azizova for the “She” film, which won “The best short film” nomination.

The winners were awarded diplomas and memorable gifts. The event ended with a concert with participation of art masters and young singers.

The event was attended by the State Advisor to the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan on the issues of youth policy – Chairman of the Central Council of the Union of Youth of Uzbekistan K.Kuranbayev.
