Tashkent hosted a meeting with participants of the international motocross “Path of nomads”.

Over 300 travelers from Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Russia and Tajikistan are taking part in this project, organized by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan jointly with the Embassy of Kyrgyzstan in Uzbekistan and the Motorcyclist Association of Central Asia.

The event, held within the framework of the World Nomad Games, is aimed at further strengthening friendship and brotherhood of peoples of Central Asia, promoting the development of tourism in the region.

Participants of the motocross visited the sights of Tashkent, got acquainted with the rich history, cultural heritage, traditions and customs of the country. The guests met with veterans, youth and representatives of public.

As the chairman of the Motorcyclist Association of Central Asia Askhat Seitbekov noted, this project not only reflects the long-standing good-neighborliness between the people of the region, but also plays an important role in the approval of such concepts as friendship, humanism, kindness and mercy.

Participants of the motocross, who left Bishkek during the trip on the route Almaty – Shymkent – Tashkent, paid tribute to the memory of those who died during the Second World War, once again remembered the courage and heroism of veterans living among us.

Cultural events with participation of guests continued in Samarkand. The participants of the project visited Registan Square, the mausoleum of Amir Temur, the historical and cultural monuments of the city.

The motocross continued its journey along the route Dushanbe – Khujand – Osh – Issyk-Kul.
