Students of a boarding school visited Saint Petersburg
On July 13-24, a group of students from the Republican Specialized Art Boarding School visited the Russian city of Saint Petersburg.
The trip was organized by the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan in order to expand the outlook of students and increase their interest in acquiring knowledge through acquaintance with the fine arts, culture and architecture of foreign countries.
The students became closely acquainted with the rich history, architectural monuments and museums of Saint Petersburg, which is one of the world centers of culture and art. Excursions to the Hermitage, the Russian Museum, Petrovsky, Pavlovsky and Menshikovsky palaces, the Peter and Paul Fortress, the Zoological Museum, as well as acquaintance with collections of the Saint Petersburg Union of Artists, the Museum of the Academy of Arts, the palace and park ensemble Oranienbaum made a great impression on students.
