State Youth Policy: activity, problems and solutions
Two years have passed since the President Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed the Law “On the State Youth Policy”. An event on “The State Youth Policy: activities, problems and solutions” has been held on this occasion at the Youth Press Club.
It was attended by the Chairman of the Commission of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis on Youth Issues K.Tadjiyev, Deputy Commander of the National Guard Sh.Shakirov, Acting Deputy Minister of Innovation Development O.Tuychiyev, Director of the Institute for Studying of Youth Problems and Training Prospective Personnel A.Jalilov and others.
Participants expressed their opinions about importance of this law, issues related to youth, causes of offenses and crime, factors contributing to them, negative consequences of bad habits.
The importance of creating necessary conditions for education of younger generation as fully developed individuals, who mastered modern knowledge and professions, implementation of their talents and abilities, supporting and encouraging their aspirations and initiatives was noted at the event.
In Uzbekistan, there are 17 million 716 thousand 238 people up to 30, 10 million 122 thousand 316 of them are young people from 14 to 30. The event focused on joint work of responsible agencies involved in protection of rights and legitimate interests, education, social protection and health of youth, which is 61 percent of the country’s population.
At the press conference, it was noted that the law serves to radically reformation of protection system of legitimate interests and rights of youth, consistent implementation of the state youth policy.
