At a charity event held in the “Turkiston” palace by the Tashkent city council of the Uzbekistan youth union, detailed information was given about the “union of good deeds” project.

The “union of good deeds” project, started in September 2017, includes such areas as “providing care”, “be a friend” and “healthy youths”. Participants in the project are volunteers, and they work with children of orphanages, special schools, children of low-income families and children with special needs. They also visit lone elders in neighbourhoods and help with housework. They also help arrange various sports competitions with the participation of young people with special needs.

According to information from the first deputy chairman of the Tashkent city council of the Uzbekistan youth union, Akmal Jumaboyev, this project is directed towards strengthening the social responsibility of the younger generation and their such qualities as kindness, care and attention.

The event concluded with a concert with the participation of students’ artistic groups.
